With the start of the large-scale vaccination campaign, our country (and other countries) is taking further action in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. The Poison Centre provides support by answering information questions relating to the COVID-19 vaccines and the vaccination, as well as maintaining an overview of the cases of possible adverse effects reported to the Poison Centre. This monitoring of possible adverse effects is in the context of pharmacovigilance, a task for which the Poison Centre works closely with the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products.
